Rules and Policies

Membership:

Each guest is required to purchase a private membership for the season May 1 - Oct 31 each year. All guests must be 21 years of age or older and provide a government issued photo I.D. that shows your current address. This is mandatory.  Membership fee for 2024 season is 15.00 and payable upon arrival. Membership may be revoked at any time without refund for any misconduct or breaking campground rules and policies.

 

Reservations:

Upon acceptance of reservation by guest and owner, the full payment of the stay is required.

Guest must also fill out sign and date  the following:

Out in the Country Guest Accommodation Agreement,

Out in the Country Waiver of Liability.

 

Minimum Stay:

Minimum stay of two nights is required for all sites, with exception for Holidays including Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day which require a minimum stay of three nights.

 

Maximum Stay:

We have a maximum stay of two weeks.

 

Visitors: 

We do not allow visitors. 

 

Check-In:  From 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Day of reservation

Check-Out: 12:00 pm.

 

Cancellation Policy:

Any cancellation made more than 7 days prior to check-in will receive a 100% credit towards a future stay, one time only. Cancellations made less than 7 days prior to check-in will forfeit the full amount.

Camping is an outdoor experience, therefore, we do not give credits or refunds due to the discomfort of nature, early departures, weather forecasts, changes in your job, available days off, weddings, funerals, public health scares, personal health or family situations do not warrant an exception to our policy.

 

Nudity Policy:

Nudity is allowed at your site and in designated areas as outlined on the area map and shown to you after check in and settling in at your site. Any sexual activity is not allowed in the community areas, trails or the woods around the property. Please take it to your site and enjoy.
 

Campfire Policy:

Each site has a small fire pit. In the event of extreme dry weather or high winds or county advisory against permitting fires, fires will not be permitted.  When the fire is lit it should be attended to and not left unattended for any period of time.

 

Pets:

Pets are not allowed due to the nature of our property and the wildlife. 

 

Driving on the farm:

We do not permit any driving on the farm other than to your designated Parking Space.

There is at most 1/10th of a mile walk to any of the campsites from the Parking Area.  We have a garden trailer available for use to tote your belongings to the tent site.

 

Garbage:

Please dispose of garbage properly in the garbage cans provided to avoid animals and littering.

Cigarette butts should not be thrown in the firepit or anywhere on the property and should be extinguished and disposed of in an ashtray.

 

Smoking:

No smoking or vaping of any sort is allowed in the Glamping Tent. A cleaning fee of 150.00 will be charged upon violation. No smoking in the Barn Bar.

 

Alcohol:

You are permitted to BYOB.  We do not allow excessive drunkenness. Any verbal or physical assaults upon anyone on the property will be cause to be ejected from the property. Walk away from any such occurrence and report the incident to the owner as soon as possible.

 

Vehicles:

We do not permit anyone to sleep in their vehicle. 

 

Entry/Exit:

Our road is closed to all in or out traffic from 8 pm to sunrise, no exceptions!

 

Noise: 

No excessive noise is allowed after 8 pm. Please be considerate of other campers and keep your music or conversations at a level as to not disturb others peace and quiet enjoyment of the farm.

 

Firearms, weaponry, illegal drugs are not permitted anywhere on the property.

 

Additionally:

Do not feed wild animals.

Be a considerate neighbor.

Keep music at a reasonable volume.

Clean up after yourself.

Don’t pass through other campsites.

No gas generators or extension cords are permitted.

Respect others' privacy and confidentiality. Photos are allowed only when all persons in the picture agree.

 

The owners reserve the right to change/modify or add rules and policies and promptly publish them on the website.
